      We have made every effort to design our law firm to be client friendly.  It is our experience that we obtain the best results for clients when they understand the nature of their legal issues and what will be necessary for us to obtain the most favorable results.  At DUDLEY & PANEK, P.C., we believe the best way to reach these understandings is to effectively communicate with the client.  Effective communication requires not only that the attorney explain the law and issues, but also that the attorney listen to what the client has to say!  We try to respond to our clients quickly and without legal doublespeak.   We understand that we work for our clients,  and that without clients, we would not be here.

Who We Are

D. MICHAEL DUDLEY -- graduated from Western Michigan University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  He has represented individuals in the mid- Michigan area since 1975. His primary areas of practice are Social Security Disability and SSI law. Mike served as chair of the Social Security Section of the State Bar of Michigan and remains active on that council.  He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representative.

   Mike is also active in the area of serious personal injury and wrongful death law.  He is highly experienced in all areas of medical legal representation and is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court.   He is a published author in the area of Medical Malpractice Law and appears in Who's Who in the Law.   He is a member or the Michigan Association for Justice.

MICHAEL J. PANEK --  is a graduate of Michigan State University and The University of Michigan Law School.  He is a Viet Nam War Veteran and has been practicing law since 1973.   His preferred areas of practice include probate, real estate, tax, and bankruptcy law. Mr. Panek is admitted to practice in all Michigan and Federal Courts as well as the United States Tax Court.   He has contributed articles relating to areas of practice in various publications.  In addition, he has served as an Adjunct Professor at Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
